The University of Delaware’s Department of Earth, Ocean and Environment has been developing a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) system in the past few years. In a demonstration that V2G technology is ready to roll, the University of Delaware licensed this system for the first time to an outside party. The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) recently joined the pantheon of trade groups and government agencies attempting to handicap future EV adoption. The German Ministry of Transport is undertaking a $165 million initiative to put one million electric vehicles (EVs) on roads by 2020. The North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) regional government recently initiated a $21.6 million road test as part of this federal initiative. NRW officials want to see 250,000 EVs on regional roads by 2020 with infrastructure in place to ensure day-to-day commuting. vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) since the mid-1990s. TIC premiered the
latest version of its EVSE technology at the Tokyo Motor Show in
